Here we go. This is one of my biggest works...not my best though. It took me four hours and I remember SNL starting, finishing and me still not being done. Note to self: try not to start a painting too late in the evening. Note to self number two: don't put pressure on yourself to finish it in one night. But I was fairly please with it and it's hanging in my parent's sun room so that means they don't mind it so much. :P

Blue Spring

Practiced using the pot technique from the book again without looking at the tips. Just to get the hang of it.

Here's a painting I created using one of Bob Ross' books. If you don't know who Bob Ross is, I suggest looking him up.

Here's something I have been drawing for no reason whatsoever since grade 7. I decided to put it on canvas. The white space is just unpainted canvas.
Sunflowers
Sept 2010
This painting was a gift to a philosopher friend of mine. To be completely honest, which most people tend to do more online than in any other parts of their lives, this painting did not come out at all how I had envisioned it. What I wanted to paint was far too complex for my amateur status - but you have to work with what you're given.
Heaven and Hell

This painting was made after reading an incredibly well written piece of literature written by my brother. I decided to give him this painting and he used it as a book cover to a collection of his short stories. I did not stop grinning when he told me he decided to do this.

Pot of Flowers
Aug 2010.
This is my very first painting using acrylic on canvas. It was painted for my mom, because she has to love everything her kids make for her.
